On Feb 9th, 2008, Lilama 45.4 Joint Stock Company and Alstom Projects India Ltd, signed the contract “Installation of Hydro-mechanical equipments” for Nam Ngum Hydro Power Plant, on Nam Ngum River in Lao PDR. Scope of this package is installation of Power Intake Structures (Intake Roller Gates, Power Intake Trashrack, Intake Stoplogs, Intake Portal Crane), Draft Tube Stoplogs and Monorail Crane, Spillway Radial Gate, Spillway Stoplogs and river Diversion for the plant.
Nam Ngum 2 HPP includes 03 Units, each unit has a capacity of 205 MW and schedule for completion of this package is about 02 years.
